- El Global Gas Plant Tracker (GGPT) es un conjunto de datos mundial de centrales eléctricas de gas. Incluye unidades con capacidades de 50 megavatios (MW) o más (20 MW o más en la Unión Europea y el Reino Unido). El GGPT cataloga todas las plantas de energía a gas en este umbral de capacidad de cualquier estado, incluido en funcionamiento, anunciado, en preconstrucción, en construcción, archivado, cancelado, suspendido o retirado. - The Global Gas Plant Tracker (GGPT) is a worldwide dataset of gas-fired power plants. Includes units with capacities of 50 megawatts (MW) or more (20 MW or more in the European Union and the United Kingdom). The GGPT lists all gas-fired power plants at this capacity threshold from any status, including operating, announced, pre-construction, under construction, shelved, cancelled, suspended, or retired. Units often consist of a boiler and gas or steam turbines, and several units can form a gas-fired power station. The map and underlying data are updated twice a year, in January and July. Each plant included in the tracker is linked to a wiki page on GEM.wiki, which provides additional details.
